Privacy Policy — Vault Watch

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This policy covers the Vault Watch website (vaultwatch.xyz) and the Vault Watch Chrome extension. The short version: we do not collect, store, or transmit any user data.

What we collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no cookies set by us, and no tracking of any kind.

Where your watchlist lives

The list of vaults you choose to track is stored only on your own device — in your browser's local storage (website) or in Chrome's extension storage (extension). It never leaves your device and we have no way to see it.

Network requests

To display live vault data, the website and extension fetch public market data directly from the following third-party APIs: Morpho (blue-api.morpho.org), Yearn (ydaemon.yearn.fi), Beefy (api.beefy.finance), and DeFiLlama (yields.llama.fi). These requests contain only the identity of the vaults being looked up — never any personal information, because none exists. Those services may see your IP address as part of any ordinary web request; their own privacy policies govern their handling of it.

Permissions used by the extension

Wallets and funds

Vault Watch never connects to a wallet, never asks for keys or addresses, and cannot access funds. It is a read-only viewer of public market data.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted at this URL with a new date. Given the design — no backend, no data — we don't expect it to.
